vote here

The Regular City Election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 with polling places open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Click here to find your polling place. Visit the Dallas County Auditor's webpage to register to vote.

Four candidates are vying for three at-large Waukee City Council seats:

  • Anna Bergman
  • Charlie Bottenberg
  • Courtney Clarke
  • Brian Harrison

Council members serve four-year terms. The five-member Waukee City Council and Mayor Bill Peard hold meetings every first and third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Waukee City Hall.

Waukee residents, along with the rest of Dallas County, will have the opportunity to vote on November 7 as part of the Regular City Election on a countywide referendum for a one-cent local option sales tax. The tax would be collected on a countywide basis and distributed to communities through a formula based on population and prior taxable valuations. Waukee would receive a projected $2 million annually from the local option sales tax. The City of Waukee will soon share information about how those new revenues would be utilized should the Dallas County voters pass the measure.

Absentee ballots are available now. Voters can start that process by clicking here. Learn more about Waukee elections.
