Haunted House Attendees Donate Nearly 100 Food Items

food for hh 2015

Attendees at Waukee's Haunted House held October 27-28 donated 98 non-perishable food items to the Waukee Area Christian Food Pantry. Sponsored by the Park Board, organizers offered $1 off admission to Haunted House attendees who donated three non-perishable food items. The total amount collected this year included the 98 individual items and a total of $60 in cash. It was a chilly two nights at the Centennial Park Enclosed Shelter, but 421 people still made it out to go through the scary Haunted House. Thanks to all who attended and for the great donations as well!
