Library Sets Fundraising Record at Fall Book Sale

The Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation held its annual Fall Book Sale on October 22. The event raised a record $2,840 to help support the library's programs, events, materials and spaces. The group also reports that more than a dozen new members joined the WPL Friends Foundation.

The Spring Book Sale will be held April 14-15, 2017. The library also accepts donations of books, CDs, DVDs and audiobooks in new or gently used condition year-round. Call 515-978-7944 with questions about donations.
