Changes Coming to Pet Licensing Procedures

pet license

The City is working with online pet licensing company PetData to provide a more convenient and easy way for Waukee residents to license cats and dogs, as is required by City ordinance. The expected launch is mid-February. Residents do not need to renew or license pets until the site is up and running. As a reminder, the annual licensing fees for pets are $15 for spayed/neutered pets and $25 for unaltered pets. Stay tuned for more details and an official launch date. Licensing will become especially important as the City looks at building a dog park in the future.
