What to Know About the May 2 County-Wide Special Election

A special election will be held throughout Dallas County on Tuesday, May 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters will choose to pass or not pass Proposition A, authorizing a Loan Agreement and issuance of GO Capital Loan Notes in an amount not to exceed $22.9 million for a new Law Enforcement Center with related site improvements.

For those voters who are already registered, you may vote by requesting an absentee ballot online or in person at the Dallas County Auditor's Office, or by visiting your polling place on election day.

For those voters who are NOT already registered, you must pre-register at the Dallas County Auditor's Office by April 21, 2017 or register at your polling place on election day.
