    Take time to breath, move, stretch, and relax in this beginners' yoga class. This class is scheduled on the same day and time as our Snow Much Yoga Fun kids' event with parents' needs in mind! (However, any adult may attend.) Bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.

  6. Imagine Waukee 2040 Open House

    Join the City of Waukee and firm Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. for an open house to see all the work that has been going on as part of Imagine Waukee 2040 - the City's new comprehensive plan currently in progress. The is a "stop by and browse" event during which members of the public can view various stations and displays regarding land use, transportation, parks and trails, housing and other planning topics related to the comprehensive plan. City staff and firm members want to hear residents' feedback regarding the work they've done thus far to plan for Waukee's success through the year 2040 as well as any other ideas which should be considered. The "Imagine Waukee 2040" plan will be completed later this year, and it is important to have as much public input as possible.

  9. Senior WASP Luncheon

    January 31, 2018, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ Community Center

    WASP involves the senior citizens in the Waukee area and aims to "Take the Sting Out of Crime"! WASP was created based upon the concept of cooperation between law enforcement, senior services and seniors in the community to reduce the criminal victimization of the elderly. It stands for Waukee Area Seniors and Police. The group meets the last Wednesday of each month for lunch at the Community Center. Interested seniors should contact the Waukee Police Department at 515-978-7979.
