Public Works is the Department that makes a city sparkle. The next time
you enjoy one of our beautiful parks, slow down and take time to observe
the results of the efforts of our Public Works Department. Whether you
choose to walk, ride your bike, or drive, it's the never-ending efforts
of the Public Works Department that makes it possible. The streets are cleaned
and maintained by the Public Works Department. The sidewalks are maintained
by the Public Works Department. The traffic control devices that allow
us to safely navigate the streets are all due to the labor of the Public
Works Department.
En route you'll observe beautifully manicured trees and grass cultivated
by our Public Works Department.
Once at one of our parks, the first thing you will notice is the clean
grounds. The shelter house and gazebo at the City Triangle are freshly painted
and kept in great condition. Even at night, the lighting keeps the area
well lit. It is the efforts of the Public Works Department that makes this
happen.
