Houseplants 101

Saturday, January 23, 2021

Join us online for this beginner-friendly houseplant class with the pros at Ted Lare Garden Center! Ever get a houseplant that has yellowing leaves and can’t figure out what the problem is? Not sure how much sunlight your plants actually need? This class will cover some of the common problems that happen with houseplants and how to troubleshoot them. Basic tips on lighting, watering and fertilizing will also be covered. This class is perfect for people just starting off with houseplants or anyone wanting to learn a bit more. Those registered for this class will also get to pickup a small houseplant of their very own! Those on the registration list will be able to pick-up their free houseplant (one per household) via curbside pick-up on Friday, January 22nd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Curbside pick-up will be located at the Library (unless otherwise announced). Library staff will be wearing masks during distribution.
