Spring Clean-Up Sees Large Participation

ASI, the City's solid waste provider reported that they collected 156 tons of large items during the Spring Curbside Clean-Up. They also collected four large containers full of appliances and tires.

Metro Waste Authority provided the hazardous waste drop-off disposal. Waukee residents dropped off 5,198 pounds of hazardous waste for proper disposal including such things as lead-acid batteries, oil-based paint, used oil, antifreeze and aerosols.
