City Employees Reach Service Milestones

At the July 24, 2019 annual staff celebration, City of Waukee employees who reached 5, 15, 20 and 25 years of service were recognized for their work. 

Employees recognized for five years of service include:

  • Police Chief John Quinn
  • Engineering Technician Jeremy Sharon
  • Detective Susan Kies
  • Library Director Kristine Larson
  • Utility Locator Daniel Laughridge
  • Building Inspector Troy Husted

Employees recognized for 15 years of service include:

  • Police Lieutenant Jeff Mellencamp
  • Fire Lieutenant Adam Hilgenberg
  • Parks & Recreation Director Matt Jermier
  • Engineering Technician Tony Hanson
  • Payroll Clerk Kari Schaufenbuel
  • Stormwater Inspector Jenny Corkrean

Employees recognized for 20 years of service include:

  • Administrative Coordinator Beth Richardson

Firefighter/Paramedic Kurt Steinke was recognized for 25 years of service to the City of Waukee!
