Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Northern Alice's Road Entrance to Hy-Vee Closed

    November 26, 2018, 8:00 AM - December 2, 2018

    The contractor for the Alice's Road widening project has scheduled a closure of the northern entrance into the Waukee Hy-Vee beginning Monday, Nov. 26 at 8 a.m. and lasting approximately one week, weather pending. This closure is to allow for pavement removal and replacement of the driveway connection to Alice Road. The south entrance will open and will provide full access. The truck entrance will also be open with partial access.

    This electrifying program at the library won’t hertz you, but it may be shocking. Come learn about circuits and electricity while discovering the what behind watts! Participants will create their own circuits and engage in hands-on experiments. For students in 2nd-5th grades. Registration is required and will open 3 weeks before the event.
