Subscribe to calendar notifications by clicking on the Notify Me button, and you will automatically be alerted about the latest events in our community. Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Music Together

    October 18, 2019, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Waukee Public Library

    Music Together is a delightful, joyous approach to music-making with your infant, toddler, or preschooler. This award winning program offers families an opportunity to sing, dance and play rhythm instruments together in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Classes are specifically designed to accommodate the unique learning styles of children under Kindergarten age while being highly engaging to their adult companions. This demonstration class is presented by staff from Songs and Signs, LLC. No registration required.

  2. Craft Lab

    October 18, 2019, 4:30 PM - 5:15 PM @ Waukee Public Library

    Design, create, and make! Craft Lab is an open-ended, creative space that invites kids to express their imagination in crafting and making. Participants are able to work on creative projects alone, in groups, or with library staff. Each month will explore a different medium of crafting, from jewelry to sewing to painting. For students in K-5th grades. No registration required.
