Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Jordan House Tour

    October 25, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Waukee Public Library

    It’s time for another library fieldtrip! Join us for a private tour of the historic Jordan House. This Victorian home is one of the oldest structures in Polk Country and the oldest in West Des Moines. Jordan House was also a station on the Underground Railroad in Iowa! We will be taking a FREE roundtrip shuttle that will depart from the Waukee Public Library. Those registered and riding the shuttle will also receive FREE admission. Please arrive for boarding by 1:50pm, we will be leaving promptly at 2:00pm. If you would like to join us for the tour but do not wish to take the shuttle, you can meet us at Jordan House. HOWEVER, you will be responsible for paying your own admissions fee.

  2. Haunted House

    October 25, 2019, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Centennial Park Enclosed Shelter

    The Waukee Park Board sponsors an annual haunted house. Enter if you dare, but be prepared to be scared. This haunted house is not suggested for young children.
