Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

    Are your littles tired of their usual toys? Are you a parent or care-giver trying to find other adults to talk to? If you answered yes, this event is for you! Learn & Play Group offers differently themed play activities each month for children ages 0-5 years and their care-givers. This event is staffed and sponsored by Partners In Family Development and Parents As Teachers. No registration required.

  2. WinterFest

    December 6, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Waukee Downtown Triangle and Waukee Community Center

    Join Santa and Waukee Mayor Bill Peard as they light the tree in Triangle Park at 6 p.m. Visit with Santa in person at the Community Center afterward while warming up with hot chocolate and cookies. Join the Waukee downtown Businesses for open houses and a scavenger hunt. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or a new, unwrapped toy to help support Waukee Area Christian Services.
