Subscribe to calendar notifications by clicking on the Notify Me button, and you will automatically be alerted about the latest events in our community. Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

  1. Waukee State of the City Address

    April 25, 2019, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Community Center

    Waukee Mayor, Bill Peard, will review the City's accomplishments and highlight future opportunities at the Waukee State of the City address on April 25, 2019. The annual event will take place at the Waukee Community Center. The luncheon and address will begin at 11:30 a.m., with check in and networking at 11:00 a.m. The event, which is hosted by the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce, is open to the public. Tickets are on sale now, and may be purchased on the Chamber's website, www.waukeechamber.com, or by contacting the Waukee Chamber at info@waukeechamber.com or 515-978-7115.

    Families with children ages 0-5 are invited to enjoy 20-25 minutes of fun songs and stories with one of our youth services librarians. No registration required.
