Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

    This week's activity is to make a sandpaper and crayon print. This is a great sensory art project.   2. Christmas Tree Collection Day

    January 11, 2021, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    The Christmas tree collection days are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 4 and Monday, Jan. 11, 2020. Real Christmas trees only should be placed on curbs by 7 a.m. Please have all items cleared off of trees before placing them out on the curbs - this includes tinsel and garland. Also, trees should not be placed in bags.
