Community organizations are welcome to submit events to the City of Waukee Events Calendar from the “Add Event” button on the homepage. The City encourages submission of events which cater to the whole community such as pancake breakfasts, free concerts, ribbon cuttings and so on. The Events Calendar is not intended to promote private programming or sales initiatives, or to support a political party or candidate. The City has the right to decline any calendar submissions.

Just as importantly, we’ll highlight ways smartphones can be used to foster connection, independence, and joy at different stages of dementia For adults ages 18+. Registration is requested.

Waukee Squares, just like Hollywood Squares, will feature Waukee Mayor, City Council, Police and Fire Chiefs and Waukee Superintendent on April 15 at Jethro's - Waukee on University. Seats are limited, so you must register to reserve a seat. No cost to attend, and contestants will be called from our attendees. Prizes will be awarded.
