The Waukee Police Department is placing radar trailers in three locations, based on resident reports of speeding. The trailers will display drivers' speeds on their screens, alerting drivers of the speed in which they are driving. The locations are:
- 500 block of NE Bowman
- 100-500 block of SE Westgate
- 400 block of NE Westgate
The trailers will be out for a couple of weeks. Police presence in the areas of concern will also be increased. Thank you for helping to keep Waukee safe! With the nice weather, there are more bicyclists, pedestrians and kids playing outside throughout the City.
