The roadway contractor for Phase 5 of the Alice's Road widening project will begin work on April 30, 2018. This work will entail essential clearing of trees and shrubs adjacent to the roadway. No closures of the travel lanes are planned at this time, however trucks will be entering and exiting the shoulders of Alice’s Road with materials. On Monday, May 7 the contractor will be mobilizing crews and equipment to start installation of underground utilities. There will be traffic control signage to warn drivers of the work taking place, however this will not impact the flow of traffic.
