Break out your Halloween costumes early, and join the Waukee Parks & Recreation Department for a night of fall fun! For just $5, kids can sign up for "Paint-a-Pumpkin" which will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Park. Preregistered participants will be able to pick out their own pumpkin and will also receive paints and brushes, a glow stick and caramel apple supplies. Stick around to have your hand painted with a fun design and eat Halloween candy!
The free Movies in the Park - “The Addams Family” - will begin afterward at 6:35 p.m. 515 Pi Food Truck will be serving up delicious pizza for attendees to purchase as well.

- Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear a mask during the event.
- Attendees are strongly encouraged to practice physical distancing as much as possible when not with immediate family members.
- Attendees will be asked to use hand sanitizer during the event.
- If anyone in the family feels sick, they should stay home. The participant will be able to pick up their items the following week at the Parks & Rec office.
