Waukee Parks & Recreation is adding a new amenity to the Heart of the Warrior Trail off Ashworth Drive, west of S Warrior Lane and south of Windfield Park. The new space will include a small parking lot, shade structure, butterfly gardens, bike racks and a bike repair station. The trail will also be extended from 6th Street to the new retail building under construction west of Kum & Go.
