[ARCHIVED] Celebrate July 4th in Waukee!

WaukeeCelebration 042_thumb.jpg

Waukee is the place to be for the best 4th of July celebration! The 4th of July parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and wind through Waukee. It will end at Centennial Park around 3:00 p.m. where inflatables, food vendors and live music by the band, Gimikk will make for a great celebration. A zip line will be added to this year’s fun for kids. A spectacular fireworks show will start at dusk and attendees won’t want to miss this massive display that marks the end of this great annual celebration.

All residents are welcome to enter a float in the parade. The parade line-up starts at 1:00 p.m. at the Vince Meyer Learning Center. Candy is a great addition to any float but we ask that water guns and squirt guns not be used on floats.
