The City of Waukee is now seeking nominations through Friday, Feb. 5 for its 2015 Citizen of the Year. Each year, the City of Waukee seeks an exemplary resident who represents the true spirit of community service. The award recipient is honored with a public reception as well as riding in the 4th of July and Celebrate Waukee parades.
Past Citizen of the Year winners include long-time resident and local Waukee Hardware owner, Geoff Warmouth, civic-minded Waukee resident Cyndi Craigmile and well-known community leader Terry Snyder.
