From the Dallas County Conservation Board:
The Dallas County Conservation Board is beginning Phase 2 of its economic impact survey of trail use on the Raccoon River Valley Trail. A team of students from Iowa State University representing CyBIZ Lab will begin conducting field interviews on the trail. They will primarily concentrate their efforts at trailhead areas on the weekends and evenings. The field surveys will continue over the next several weeks.
The Iowa State University CyBIZ Lab provides the opportunity for cross-functional teams of undergraduate and graduate students to work on business and organizational projects. Students gain hands-on experience working to solve real business problems, and companies and organizations receive potential solutions to business issues from a perspective outside the company.
Please help the Board with survey efforts by participating with the ISU CyBIZ student team on this project. Results from this trail study will help enhance the quality, economic value, and tourism opportunities of the Raccoon River Valley Trail and its associated communities. Thanks!
