Waukee Police Chief John Quinn recently recognized the Waukee Fareway, Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company and the Krois Family for their contributions to Waukee Public Safety Day. All were awarded the special Chief's Recognition Award.
Thanks to the Waukee location of Fareway Food Stores for providing the burgers and hot dogs plus great employees to grill them at the annual Public Safety Day. Atlantic Bottling provided the refreshing beverages to the more than 1,000 in attendance. And, delicious ice cream products were provided by John Krois and family.
The success of the annual Waukee Public Safety Day - a collaborative effort between Waukee Police and Fire Departments - would not be possible without these great community partners.
