The east three lanes of Alice's Road were completed earlier this summer, and the majority of the grading for the west three lanes is also complete. Aggregate sub-base has been placed along the western side, and paving began the week of October 9. The pedestrian underpass for the Heart of the Warrior Trail is progressing and is anticipated to be completed by the end of October, weather permitting. Traffic signals at the intersection of Olson Drive and Alice’s Road will be installed once paving is complete. The contractor is still on pace to open the fully widened six-lane road to traffic by the end of November, weather permitting.
As work continues on the southern half of Alice's Road, drivers are encouraged to be cautious in the area and to follow the 25 mph speed limit. Thank you for your patience.
