This year, the Waukee Independence Day Celebration will take place on both July 3 and 4! The celebration features a kid-friendly carnival from Chamberlain Quality Shows. The popular parade, food vendors, live music from The 4ontheFloor and fireworks are on the schedule as well. The movie “We Bought a Zoo” (PG) will be shown at Centennial Park on July 3, sponsored by NCMIC & Professional Services. Discounted carnival tickets can be purchased online or in the Waukee Parks & Recreation Office through June 30.
