Busy parents with at-home, online learners will be able to drop off their students in grades K-5th at the Waukee Community Center for a day of supervised learning. Parents can utilize this time to schedule work meetings, run errands, etc. Children will be required to wear a mask while indoors and use personal headphones when interacting with their teacher. Parks & Recreation staff will not be leading any instruction for the students, and students must be proficient with the use of their computer. Children will be seated one student per table and should bring their own drinks, snacks and lunch, if needed.
Upcoming dates include Sept. 10, 17 and 24. All sessions go from 8:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. but have early drop-off and late pick-up options available.
