The Waukee Parks & Recreation Department is seeking vendors for its fifth annual FamilyFest celebration on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017. Area businesses and organizations can take part in this free, family-friendly event attended by hundreds of Waukee area families.
“This unique event offers an indoor family outing for kids and parents to run off some steam during this cold time of year,” said Recreation Supervisor Danae Edwards. “For vendors, it’s a great way for them to interact with residents and promote their respective businesses and organizations.”
The event will be held on January 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Lutheran Church of Hope – Waukee, located at 305 NE Dartmoor Drive. Waukee Parks & Recreation will host free inflatables and serve cookies and refreshments. Business vendors are asked to provide fun games and/or activities.
