This team works with and maintains the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) to map and use spatial technology to facilitate City operations and planning. The GIS is used for things like quickly accessing underground utility information, properly documenting zoning boundaries or creating location specific maintenance records to plan future infrastructure improvements.
