How to Register

Payment is required at the time of registration. Register online any day or time. Credit/Debit card payments are only accepted online.

If you cannot register online, you may use one of our alternative registration methods:

  • Mail this printable registration form (PDF) to Waukee Parks and Recreation at 805 University Avenue, Waukee, Iowa 50263.
  • Drop the printable registration form in the drop-off box to the right of the Parks & Recreation office’s front door.
  • If you don’t have a computer or a printer, you can stop in the Parks and Recreation offices and use one of our printed registration forms.

When to Register

Registration for fall and winter programs opens September 2, 2025. Classes and programs can fill up fast, so don’t wait too long. Registration for most programs will stay open until one week prior to the start date unless the program is already full. Leagues, trips and some other programs will have earlier close dates for registration, which are typically noted in the registration platform.

Cancelations

Programs, activities, special events and festivals that are canceled, postponed or changed in location will be announced as soon as possible. Please check our Facebook for updates. Waukee Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel a program or an activity that does not meet the minimum number of participants necessary to offer the program.

Photo and Video Policy

Photos and videos may be taken of participants and guests at programs, activities, leagues, trips, special events and festivals. These photos and videos may be used in promotional materials, press releases and kits, magazine articles, newsletters, Waukee.org and any City social media channels.

Program or Activity Refund Policy

If you cancel a program, class or camp, a $5 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund if you cancel at least one week prior to the first day of the program. Within one week of the program start date, a refund will not be issued.

For leagues, a $5 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund when an enrollee withdraws prior to rosters being made. After rosters are formed, no refund will be issued.

For trips, cancelations must be made at least three weeks prior to the trip date to receive a full refund less a $5 non-refundable processing fee. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 3 weeks of the trip.

Refunds will be issued by check if original payment was made by check or cash. If payment was made online with a credit card, the credit will be put back on to the card. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds to be processed.

Facility Rental Refund Policy

To receive a refund, reservations must be cancelled at least 10 business days prior to the date of reservation. A $10 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund. No refund will be issued for cancelations made within 10 business days of the start of the reservation.
