How to Register

Payment is required at the time of registration. Register online at Waukee.org/Registration at any time. Credit and debit card payments are only accepted online. 

If you cannot register online, you may use one of our alternative registration methods:

  • Mail this printable registration form (PDF) to Waukee Parks and Recreation at 805 University Avenue, Waukee, Iowa 50263.
  • Drop the printable registration form in the dropbox to the right of the Parks and Recreation office’s front door.
  • If you don’t have a computer or a printer, you can stop in the Parks and Recreation offices and use one of our printed registration forms.

When to Register

Registration for spring and summer programs typically opens at the beginning of March. Classes and programs can fill up fast, so don’t wait too long. Registration for most programs will stay open until one week prior to the start date unless the program is already full. Leagues, trips and some other programs will have earlier close dates for registration, which are typically noted in the registration platform.

Cancelations

Programs, activities, special events and festivals that are canceled, postponed or changed in location will be announced as soon as possible. Please check the email associated with your registration and Waukee Parks and Recreation Facebook or Waukee.org for updates. Waukee Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel a program or an activity that does not meet the minimum number of participants necessary to offer the program.

By the participant

To request a cancellation, call 515-978-0007 or email parksandrecreation@waukee.org before 4 p.m. on the deadline date. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8-4 p.m. except for holidays. See the list of holiday closures at Waukee.org/CityInfo.

Program or Activity Refund Policy

A $10 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund if the cancellation is made before 4 p.m. on the deadline date. No refund will be issued for a program that costs $10 or less or for cancellations made after the deadline.

Deadlines to be eligible for a refund:

  • Programs, Classes, Camps or Clinics: 5 business days prior to the first day of the program
  • Leagues: Prior to rosters being made
  • Trips: prior to the deadline noted within the trip description in the online registration system

Facility Rental Refund Policy

To receive a refund, reservations must be canceled at least 10 business days prior to the date of the reservation. A $10 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 10 business days of the start of the reservation.

Photo and Video Policy

Photos and videos may be taken of participants and guests at programs, activities, leagues, trips, special events and festivals. These photos and videos may be used in promotional materials and communications, such as press releases and media kits, magazine articles, newsletters, on Waukee.org, flyers, digital ads and any City social media channels.
