A guiding principle for the design of Triumph Park was inclusive amenities that ensure people of all ages and varying abilities can enjoy the part and connect with others.
The 11-acre pond has an accessible fishing pier that offers a comfortable, shaded area to enjoy fishing. The entry walkway is designed to stay at an incline that meets ADA requirements, so those in wheelchairs or with other mobility aids or challenges can safely access the pier. Greater Iowa Credit Union Miracle League Field is home to special leagues for youth with special needs. Learn more and sign up for the spring or fall league here. This field draws children and groups from beyond Waukee and is a frequent host to student and other youth groups.
The 15,000-square-foot EPIC Inclusive Playground is one of the largest in the nation. Its design helps children with mobility challenge play alongside their peers.
