Playground

The playground at Triumph Park is one of the largest inclusive playgrounds in the nation. The 15,000-square-foot playground features mobility device access at various levels, rubberized surfacing for accessibility and safety, a seating wall, sensory features, STEM panels, shade structures, and accessible parking and restrooms. This is a popular spot for families to play in between games on nearby ball fields. Families from across the Des Moines metro and neighboring communities come to climb, spin and enjoy the playground's many features.

The Waukee EPIC Inclusive Playground is situated near the Greater Iowa Credit Union Miracle League® Field and an accessible fishing pier. Restrooms next to the playground are open year-round.

The firm builds only one EPIC Playground every year, and Waukee’s is the most inclusive to date of its size. The playground opened to visitors in June 2022.
